Plan B Net IP Access provides direct, managed, congestion-free, national connectivity to the internet via the Plan B Net internet (IP) backbone. The service is designed to meet the needs of customers based in the U.S with optimal performance to the wider internet. The service can be tailored to meet different customer profiles and market contexts.
Plan B Net offers a range of in-country and in-region connectivity options. We report on and guarantee both the performance of our IP backbone and its connectivity to key content and users on other networks, with our Network and Connectivity Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Plan B Net IP Access has been designed to work flexibly with your existing infrastructure. We offer port only and port-plus-access options. You may also be able to take advantage of ‘throttled’ ports, which enable you to upgrade your service access bandwidths quickly and easily. As a bundled solution, we combine Plan B Net port facilities with a range of access methods that include:
• Local, national, full or half-circuit private circuit (leased line)
• Digital subscriber line (DSL) access in the U.S
• Asynchronous transfer mode (ATM)
For new entrants into uncertain markets, our ATM option maximizes responsiveness by delivering bandwidth in small increments, with rapid upgrades to more capacity virtually on demand. |
